
EA has officially announced that a sequel to Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars is in the works and is expected to be released some time next year. The game will introduce a few new gameplay features and, more importantly, tie up the Tiberium plot once and for all. Developed at EA Los Angeles, C&C4 will include new class-based gameplay and what sounds like an RPG-style player progression system. It also looks like there will be quite a bit of meat to the game, with two separate single-player campaigns and a number of multiplayer modes, including a new 5-on-5 objective-based mode that emphasizes teamwork.
